West Point Woman Perishes In Crash

   The life of a West Point woman was claimed in a two vehicle crash on West Point Road Sunday.

   Alice Christian, 62, perished in the 5:30 p.m. crash. According to reports filed through the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Christian’s southbound 2003 Ford Escape crossed into the northbound lane, striking a 2002 Dodge truck head-on.

   The truck was driven by West Point resident Benjamin Jackson, age 21. R.V. Jackson, 71, was a passenger in the truck. Neither was injured in the crash.

   Trooper Jackie Vandygriffe investigated the crash.
